Get ready to celebrate the magic of the season at Troutdale’s Windy Wonderland and Tree Lighting, happening in historic downtown Troutdale on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This beloved annual event offers holiday cheer for all ages while supporting SnowCap Community Charities.

Discover the Holiday Market

The heart of the festivities is the holiday market inside The Troutdale House at 411 E Historic Columbia River Hwy. Browse dozens of local vendors offering unique handcrafted gifts, artisan foods, and seasonal treats. It’s the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind holiday treasures while enjoying festive music that will fill the air. The kiddos will have plenty of activities wo enjoy including holiday crafts, games and story time.

Visit Santa’s North Pole Headquarters

Don’t miss this chance to capture special memories with the jolliest man of the season! Santa Claus himself will set up shop in a transformed storefront downtown, welcoming visitors on both Saturday and Sunday. Stop by for FREE professional photos with Santa from 2:00–4:30 p.m. and for selfies from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. on both days. Please note that we are not able to print photos on site, but they will be available for download to your computer or mobile device the day after the event.

Explore Downtown Fun

The festive spirit will fill downtown Troutdale, making it the perfect time to explore our charming local businesses, cafés, and restaurants. Enjoy beautifully decorated storefronts, discover special holiday deals, and join our downtown scavenger hunt! Participants can sign up inside the Holiday Market and everyone who complete the activity will receive a special Troutdale gift!

Tree Lighting Ceremony

The weekend culminates with the Troutdale Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, December 8, at 5:00 p.m. Gather at Mayors Square to sip hot cocoa, enjoy holiday music, and count down as we illuminate the live blue spruce! Santa will make a special appearance to help spread the holiday spirit! Arrive early to secure your spot and soak in the festive atmosphere.

Give Back to the Community

Support those in need by bringing donations for SnowCap Community Charities. They’re accepting canned goods (especially proteins), non-perishable foods, hygiene items, small toys, and warm winter clothing like coats, hats, gloves, and scarves. They will also gratefully accept cash donations.
